If you want a good, home comfort meal for a good, wall comfort price, choose to eat breakfast or lunch at one of Raleigh’s long-standing, yummy restaurants, Big Ed’s.
Walking in, you are greeted by country memorabilia, letters from Raleigh locals thanking Ed for a great meal and a great time, and a really friendly hostess.
The coffee comes in down home diner mugs and the menu includes hot breakfast and southern lunch.
Last Thursday, I went with Amy, my mother in law, and Alison, “grandmom”, my grandmother in law, for lunch. I ordered breakfast!
I could not resist their plate-big pancake, southern sausage, and buttered biscuits. Of course, I also could not finish my plate-big pancake. But I enjoyed every bite!!
