What To Do This Weekend

Ready – Set – Go!

In Raleigh, there is always fun and exciting events to attend, people to see, and restaurants at which to dine on the weekend! Fit these festivities into your weekend and then post comments telling me your favorite event!

Mary Kay Cosmetics

Thursday afternoon Jane Minor’s Mary Kay Cosmetics Holiday Open House – My favorite holiday open house of the season is from 11AM to 7PM at the Hunting Ridge Clubhouse. All Mary Kay skin care and make up is 20% off – stock up on your necessities, stocking stuffers, and great Christmas gifts for family and friends!

All Saints Chapel

Thursday Night City Lights and Krispy Kreme Doughnuts – City Lights, a ministry of Bay Leaf Baptist Church’s college and singles group to Raleigh’s inner city, begins at 7:30PM. The group meets at All Saints Chapel on 110 S. East Street 27601. Be apart of what the Lord is doing in the heart of our great city. To start the night, enjoy a time of loving God through songs, a sermon, and some coffee, and loving others by welcoming newcomers and being welcomed yourself. End the night with a trip to Krispy Kreme doughnuts – enjoy a hot now! and see how doughnuts are made.

Sunday after churchOld Magnolia Market Place Holiday Open House – WOW! There are so many great holiday open houses this weekend! Old Magnolia Trading Company is my favorite store along the downtown street of the tiny town of Wake Forest. The open house is all weekend long but since you will be busy with all of the other events, Sunday afternoon is the perfect time to stop in. The store will be opened until 4PM. The store houses antique furniture, new and vintage home decor, and the cutest Christmas decorations. Enjoy! Enjoy!
